Interpersonal process group for adults

This group is a “here-and-now” experience with others aimed at helping people to deepen their insight into patterns in their lives and relationships. Group members are generally high-functioning, but may struggle with anxiety, depression, isolation, or difficulties in relationships. Group members share and receive help with issues and struggles in their own lives, connect with others, and are encouraged to share thoughts and feelings that may arise in response to the group process itself. In verbalizing thoughts and feelings about themselves and others in the moment, members increase their capacity for authentic connection, decrease their isolation, and are able to try out new ways of relating in a safe interpersonal environment. Group members provide support for one another as they move through challenges in group and in life.

The group is open to adults (23+) of any gender. Members should have some experience (at least two years) in individual therapy. Prior to joining the group, potential members will meet with me individually once or twice to assess whether the group may be right for them and to help me to better understand their needs and how I can best support them in group.

The group meets in person weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Grief and Bereavement

This 12-week group is an opportunity for people who are struggling through grief to find connection with others who share that experience.

Prior to joining the group, potential members will meet with me once or twice to assess whether the group may be right for them and to help me to better understand their needs and how I can best support them in group.

The group meets in person weekly, for twelve sessions, on Thursdays from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Early career therapists

This group is open to both new therapists and those who are more experienced but newer to private practice. Members engage in group case consultation and support one another as they move through the challenges of working in a clinic, group practice, or private practice setting. In addition to the element of group supervision, the group is aimed at decreasing feelings of isolation and helping members to seek and provide support and connection.

Prior to joining the group, potential members will meet with me once or twice to assess whether the group may be right for them and to help me to better understand their needs and how I can best support them in group.

The group meets every other Thursday from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. Meetings take place remotely via an online platform.
